PM & night blustering -- At home -- AM Mrs Batterman called -- she is visiting the Lindsay's -- Children have received lots of presents from the East & a letter from Eunice says she sends some -- not received -- We had a nice turkey dinner & celebrated Christmas in good style -- Evening Mary & I visited the Lindsays -- Millie & her beau, Ruel Waggoner, sparking in the parlor -- she works at Jamisons next door, helping at housekeeping, at $12 per month -- Bed 10 --

Monday Dec 26

Snow squally -- Off by morning train -- Stopped at G.H. & attended to Insurance -- rode to Va with Dr Manson at 2 PM -- Evening about town -- Bed at 1 -- clear & cold -- 17° above -- Snow 2 inches --
