Variable -- Fierce SW wind -- threatening -- Legislature getting in big work -- Letter from wife, returning "Decayed Veneration" -- and telling me I must not come home -- must stay away from Reno, etc -- Borrowed $10 from Senator Comins yesterday & today and $5 from Lem Allen -- Evening session of both houses -- lots of ladies -- I reported Senate -- commenced at 7 oclock and out at 9 -- was at Arlington awhile -- Bed at 11 -- snowing & about an inch on the streets -- wind moderated down & looks like good snowstorm -- Legislature will close tomorrow --
