Same -- Sent page letter to wife by evening train -- Bed 10 -- Put on my new pants, recd Dec 10th last from Sears Roebuck & Co for first time today -- cost $2 -- Havent needed them till now -- first rate all the same -- Shall wear them regularly -- Met Albert Lackey at evening train leaving Gold Hill with his family to make their future home at Oakland California -- Been Supt of the Overman mine 23 years and now returns with money enough to make him comfortable in his nice new home -- He is 65 years or more of age --
