Same -- Write & sent page letter to Col Wm Nelson, of the SL Tribune, inclosing my "string" of acct for November -- Also wrote page latter to send to Will Booth, Tonopah tomorrow morning -- Bed 10 -- Met George Paynter this PM at the Arlington, son of old George R Paynter who used to edit the Enterprise -- George has grown up so I hardly knew him -- Is stopping at Matt Callahan's ranch, Galena Creek and on look out for job of some kind -- Old George is mining over in Tuolumne county, near Jamestown -- Married again -- 87 years old -- This boys mother was sister to Johnny McKinnon's wife -- we had long and pleasant chat together --
