to keep my forces in good fighting
trim, but I dont look for any
success with her -- 'twill only be
an "Affair," anyway --

There seems to be no other items
of any importance to communicate
excepting a thousand good wishes.

Flo -- is asleep -- Add says there
is no special word to send -- he
seems to take his new honors very
much as a matter of course
and declares science to be foiled,
as it ought to be a girl -- reason not specified.

My regards to Mr Rhodes, when
you see him and to Harry

Write soon and tell me all you
can think of -- Meanwhile, dear
Sis. I am Your bad brother
