Dear Joan & Harry:
You can't imagine how good it was to talk to you. It made me real home sick. I really miss you and Joan and think often of the ranch. I would love to come out and go skiing at Tahoe. To be very honest I miss your way of life.
I read where Mr May had some trouble out in your area. I guess they took good care of the thief. Man, out there on the Ponderosa they get their man.

We have sure had some winter. Last year we only had one real bad snow; this year we have had a lot of it. I could have used "Rambler" to get to work a couple of days.
Thing's are about the same with my married status. No one seems to want to give, and I would sure like to get this over with. -- so that when I get married again I can spend my honeymoon at Donner Trail with you and Joan. How do you like that for a switch. I am going to marry a girl who likes the outdoors horses, etc, and I'll let Joan teach her how to shoot trap.

Business was good for the year. We are working quite hard on the new store at Crawfordsville. It won't open until August, but it takes a lot of work.
I have all the pictures of the Ranch and the people on my office wall, and people can't understand why I have a framed map of Lake Tahoe instead of Indiana on my wall.
That's about all there is for now Congratulations to Joan & Kathy on 1st & 2nd at the Stockton.
Best Wishes Ed
