Dear Joan,
Time is strange at times. It seems just ages since I left the Ranch. It has been so nice seeing my friends and hopping all over "sunny" California! I haven't seen enough of the sun to get tired of it -- the complaint I have so often heard -- but at least the rains have stopped! As a matter of fact, yesterday I got a terrific burn, playing golf, in the fog and wind -- with the sun peeking thru occassionally.
At present I'm visiting my friends in Palos Verdes. I have also visited friends in South Pasadena and Bel Air. Tomorrow I'm flying home and I hate to go back. I have had a delightful

time. As a matter of fact, at present I'm thinking about coming back to L. A. to live! However, I'll see how my thinking goes when I get home.
I want to thank you and Harry for your nice considerations while I was with you. You're two of the nicest people I know and your ears must have been burning off and on since I left, I have talked about you so much -- all good of course!
Remember me to everyone and if you do have a few minutes in your busy schedule, I'd love to hear from you. My address is 163 Prospect St., West Boylston, Mass. 01583 -- that is, until I move to California, I think!
Yours affectionately,
Ellen Reagan
