Dear Joan and Harry --

Thank you so much for everything you did for me while I stayed with you. I enjoyed everything and hope my frequent visits in town were not too much trouble for you. I miss you both and hope to see you next year (not for the same reason!)

California is great! I had a wonderful time and my Aunt showed me many places -- Drove to Carmel & along the 17 mile drive. I actually hope to return this

fall! I have applied for admission to San Francisco State College -- Should hear by the end of April wether or not I'm in. Am very excited about it. I plan to study music there.

Oh -- My Aunt & Uncle share a place with some other people in a town near the Sierra's called Allegany (sort of near Quincy) -- I may go with them at the end of the summer there. Maybe I can cross over the pass and see you.

I received another nice letter from Pam Miller.

Friday I leave for

Conn. Will stay East for a few months. Have some ends to tie up. Also hope to work part time, study piano & voice & get a little riding in if I get the chance.
