June 23

Sunday June 23rd marked the arrival
in Reno of a number of the teachers to at--
tend the Summer School.

Those who arrived on Sunday from a
distant part of the state found themselves
lost in the great city of Reno. After wander--
ing aimlessly through the streets and mak--
ing repeated inquires of passersby, they were
directed to Manzanita Hall and shortly after-

ward a procession of pedagogues carrying
suit-cases, bandboxes, or boxes of bon bons
was seen approaching.

It is true that one or two, wishing
to avoid the rush arrived Saturday and
one teacher came as early as Friday. She
engaged a room, then mysteriously dis--
appeared until Sunday. The teachers at
the Hall feared she had lost her
way in the big city, and her appearance
