Kimmel Address
July 14.
At Tuesday morning assembly,
Prof. Herbert Kimmel of our
faculty addressed a few
remarks to us on the value
and dignity of our profession.
Mr Kimmel betrayed the
spirit of a true schoolman
in his exhortation to teachers
to remain with their work
and make theirs a higher
profession instead of using
it as a stepping stone
to some other, so called,
higher profession -- perhaps
lawyer or doctor.

Let us take to heart his
advice. Let us all strive
a little harder to reach
the goal of perfection. Let
us strive to train our
children to become such
model, law abiding citizens,
of so thoroughly hygienic
habits that there no longer
will be need for lawyers
and M.Ds will go out of
fashion.
