Up not too early. Made tape recording in late morning and there seemed to be things to keep one busy until time for our dinner in Uncle Harveys honor. He brot [?] 4 guests and he was so proud. It was Ethels idea [and] she was just beaming. A most pleasant surprise was to see Queenie there.

We had a nice time [and] a delicious dinner. I spent the night there.

Mother has not fully recovered from her virus infection some months ago. We are working on it the results are slow. She is such a darling.
