Saturday Decr.25th. 1858.

Dressed Ship at 8 ocl. Dibbs Bowen
Cassiagni went out boat sailing after
breakfast in the Cutter. Had Goose
turkey Ducks Fowl to dinner Xmas pud-
ding [uneadible?] remained on bd. all
day. Party at Law's but did not
go turned in at 9 oclock
so past xmas

Sunday Decr. 26th 1858

Nothing particular today recd. a
letter from Barry returning treasury dft.
for 250/- for signature

Monday Decr. 27th. 1858

Answered Barry's letter this morning
sent signed treasury draft for 250/-
Dauk to leave at 6 oclock today
Capt. Hicks of "Lady head" Came aboard
this forenoon Bowen & Dibbs went
ashore with him at 1 oclock.
remained on bd. all day. Wrote
2 letters homw in the evening till
10 oclock. promised to write to my mother
