First the pages proceeded, then the
Gentlemen Ecuyers, or Ushers, the passage
being lined with Guards. Next came
the [[Dutchess of Savoy]] who is Sister to the
[[King of Spain]] - Her Countenance shows
what family she is off - [No] Her
Train was supported by a page - & she had two gent'n [gentlemen] Ushers, one on either hand The
three Princesses followed, each having
her Train supported in like Mannner -
& attended each by two gentelmen -
Then the Ladys of [the Bed Ch] Honour who
were neither young or handsome - as
the princesses were especially the first
and third - after mass was over they
returned in the same manner - we
had a good opportunity to view them closely,
as they walked slowly, & we were close
to the Guards -

Waited again on [[Mr. Duttons]], Secre -
tary to the English ambaassador, who com
plains of not being well, or he should
have called to see us sooner, but
promises to do it in the Morning -
