The Beds & Furniture of Marble
Tables & rich Stones inlaid; also Tortise
Shell inlaid with Mother of Pearl
are all truly royal -

The Library is neat & elegant -
The VIew of the Gardens behind the
Palace, & of the Country around
with a distant View of the Alps
afford a fine Prospect -

But we had a still finer Prospect
soon after, when we left the Palace
& drove a little way out of Town to
the Church of the Carthusians or [[Monte
d'Oro]] - behing an eminent Situation
amongst a Number of Hills & command'g [commanding]
an extensive Prospect of [[Turin]]
its regular fortifications, the River
