Sunday May 29th

Dear ones

I have neglected
to send this letter untill I
feere you have bin looking some
time for it but I have bin
quite buisy and it has bin
forgotten.

We are well I start
for Sioux City "at five o'clock in
the morning" shall be abcent
two days it used to take me
three days to make the trip but
then my home was where night
overtook me and I was as
content in one place as
another. Clark there is lots
of good land here and it
will ear long be valuable.
Sile is offered 1200 for his claim
and it is worth 2000.
I wish I had another right
by which I could secure a claim.

I have 9 grape vines and som
apple, pares, cherries + plums
growing. Will send this in the
morning. write soon
