believes he can by force make men
be "good," like himself, and they cater
to his vote.

That brings us to the class who try
to enforce the ideas that little Georgie
has, that have been enacted into laws--
the Policemen. I have been trying to formulate
a rule by which you could tell
a conservative from a radical; I have
no trouble myself; as near as I can come
to it is this; The person who is willing
to work and contribute to the support of the
police, believing they are necessary to his
protection, is the conservative; People who
believe that they can take care of them selves--
under any and all circumstances are the
radical. But who are the Policemen? They
are are either Roman Catholic as or the Catholic
temperment pre dominates in their mental
make up--occaisionally a radical gets
on the force but he does not make a good
Policeman and he soon gets out.

This brings us to the Law of Heredity

Under "Line Breaks" in the instructions is the phrase "The times at the end of each entry should get their own paragraph, since the software does not support indentation in the transcriptions." I do not understand what this means.

Gina Strack (Utah State Archives)

Hi archre, hit the Enter key twice between paragraphs as there's no way to have an indent to show a new paragraph.

Also on this page and anywhere else, don't use any descriptions of "underline" or "strikeout." We are not doing traditional documentary editing, but trying to provide keyword-searchable text alongside the original record.
