For you know that joe Hill does not
want a commutation or a pardon;
all he wants is a fair and impartial
trial, so that he may get a chance
to prove his innocence. Therefore I
appeal to you, that you grant him a
new trial, as you are the man that
has the fate of joseph Hillstrom in
your hands. And let me say that
the entire working class of this country
is watching your actions, and will hold
you responsbile for the well being of
our fellow worker.
