Kindly accept this tardy acknowledgment of your
letter of November 19th, in which you express your appreciation and approval of my stand in the Hillstrom
case.
The patriotic expressions of loyalty to the institutions
of government which are contained in your letter,
represent the sentiments which have been so potent
in this community in curbing the lawless element in their
utterances and acts of violence. The public officials
of Utah fully appreciate the support of the good citi-
zens of the State and this letter is intended to con-
vey an expression of that appreciation.
