Mr. Joseph E. Cardon,
Independence, Mo.
My dear Mr. Cardon:
I beg to thank you most sincerely for your
telegram of congratulation on my action in the Hillstrom
case.
Your telegram would have been answered long
since but I have been so busily occupied with other
matters that it has been impossible to take care of
the telegrams and mail before now. I wish you to
know that I thoroughly appreciate your thought in conveying
this expression of your approval of my action.
Very truly yours,
Governor.
