My dear Sir:-

I appreciate very much the cordial expression
contained in your letter of November 19th,
commendatory of my action in the seomwhat notorious
Hillstrom case.

It has been a source of great satisfaction
to me to find that my stand on this case receives
the approval of the decent and self-respecting citizens
of this country who are opposed to the tactics
of those who see to overthrow our institutions of
government with threats and letters of intimidation.
