Dear Governor:-

It is with approval we read this

Hillstrom case, and have heard by telephone of the
execution of Joseph Jillstrom.

We take this opportunity of expressing our approval
of the stand you have taken. The people of Utah are not
a people who desire to shed blood, but if to preserve order,
maintain our laws, and protect the lives of our industrious,
law abiding citizens we favor such action.
We have no desire to have within our State border
the like of Joseph HIllstrom, dead or alive, if Sweden
wants them we hope they will keep them.

We hope the threats of injury to yourself and family will
not be carried out. If revenge is sought we hope it will
be upon public property that we all may share a
portion of the burden.

Again expressing our approval of your corageous
action and with a desire to let you know of our approval
