Governor Spry,
Salt Lake City.
Esteemed Sir:- I observe by the press that you are in
receipt of numerous threatening letters, and take this
means of tendering you my professional services. Any
writing or matters you desire to submit to me may be
sent direct to my office, 306 International Bank Build-
ing, Los Angeles, or as a matter of reference or confi-
dence, you may mail in care of the County District At-
torney, Hall of Records, or the United States District
Attorney, Federal Building, Los Angeles, either of whom
will see that the letters, etc., are promptly delivered
to me.
I may state that I have had numerous cases of black hand
letters, such as I assume occur in your case, and I state
unhesitatingly that it affords me great pleasure to bring
such nefarious criminals to justice.
I have requested Mr. DeMoss Bowers, distributor, to send
you a complimentary copy of my treatise on handwriting,
which I trust may be of interest to you.
Yours truly,
Milton Carlson,
