Sapulpa Oklahoma, Sept 25-15.

Your Honor:

We the undersigned citizens of Oklahoma respectfully request of your honor that you use your high office in granting a new trial for Joseph Hillstrom which your state now holds under sentence of death. We make this request in behalf of justice and fair play, feeling that this man has not had such a trial as guaranteed unto every citizen of this country. Justice cannot be defeated by fairness: But the very foundation of our free institutions can be eat away by just such methods as were resorted to in the trial and conviction of this man. Trusting in your high sence of honor and duty to protect every citizen of your state in the enjoyment of their legal and constitutional rights, do we make our appeal in behalf of Joseph Hillstrom,

S. P. Green Miss Louna Austin U. C. Tinney Oran Burk R. F. P. I. Sapulpa, Okla S. G. Payne Sapulpa, O. K.
