Dear Govener:

I take this privilege to write you to
inform you I am proud of knowing one other man
bearing the name, Spry - who is not afraid
to administer the law as he knows it to be.

I am City Marshal of this place and am
trying to maintain law and order as the laws of
Kansas require and as all good law abiding citizens
wish it to be done.

My relatives all live in Missouri and the
East, Originally from Kentucky.
