Ronceverte, W. Va., Sept. 11th, 1915.

To His Excellency
The Governor.
Salt Lake City, Utah.

My Dear Sir:--

I am writing to call your attention to the case of
Joe Hill, who, according to the best accounts obtainable is sentenced
to be shot by the law of your State, and because he has been true
to his class.

I hereby protest against against this legalized murder, and
request you to set aside this infamous sentence, and give to Hill
the liberty he deserves..

We pray to you not to permit this legalized atrocity to
take place, and we hope to hear that you have been humanitarian
enough to intervene in Hills' behalf.

Earnestly thanking you in advance for granting the request
of honest workingmen, and awaiting the future, I am,

Very sincerely yours,

S.T. Frazier,
Ronceverte, W. Va.
