My dear Helen.
Just a line to
[lette-crossed out]let you know that
everything is O.K. Received
your letter of the 11th of April
the other day. There wasn't
really much in it, but
I guess you were pretty
busy looking after Mother.

I received a fine letter from
Isobel. Such a fine long
one. Of course as I never
get any letters from any
girls anymore when
I do get one it seems
