cannot see it until you enter it  if you go into the vineyards you may fancy yourself in an unbounded garden  if into the woods, in an extensive forest  This kind of country extends for a league all around the Town  The Estrella Mountains in our rear & the Spanish Mountains in our front have a noble appearance  from the plains, Penamacor which is situated another high 1 ½ leagues from hence, is likewise a very pretty object, as is Monte de Muros situated on a high rocky hill above Monte Tanto  the country is getting into its highest beauty, as the grapes are on the eve of being ripe 
