This evening J.S.H.G., Mr. J. Colley & Harold returned from De Grassi Pt. H. with broken rib. He fell with ladder at Corrymela just about half-an-hour before it was time to leave to catch train at Lefroy. He knew it was broken but was as quiet and patient as usual. Very tedious journey, arriving an hour late. Dr. Macdonald came and set rib & Eliza took care of him that night.

Next morning I telephoned to Alliston for Mrs. Allen and she arr. that evening & took charge. By the morning Dorothy had developed la grippe & I found E.I. had got her installed in her room when I got up. Very bad headache.

Lizzie also ill in bed, not grip.

All had gone well at the Pt. until H. fell.
