paid to the one half of said 12 1/2
per ct commissions & expenses,
[illegible] these are out side claims, from
those upon which, the above named
gentleman, {had} have done their work
so far, I had hoped originally
that they could charge only {2} 1/4
perct & repay to me the 3/4
parts. But as I have offered
to Mr. Davis substantially the
above first named proposition
I shall adhere to one half only,
it being understood that my own personal
ownership shall not be subject to any
expense by way of commision.
