propose that thee should inform B &
Davis of the earliest time at which thee
may be in N York.

B & D thinks the subject of naming one or
more commissioners should be early canvassed,
they thought thy standing in the case as
one of the counsel and, also one of the
trustees would render thy appointment
impracticable - but that thy services before
the Commrs as counsel would be even
of more service to the concern.

I can see that there are many things to
be considered in this matter which cannot
be named in a short Epistle of this
length - please communicate with B & D.

A close money marker, and the hores
distemper are the general topics- Annual
meeting of Wamsutta Mills this AM - old board
reelected - I wrote Dr. Potter yesterday to
meet him in N York, answering his inquiries
in relation to the redemption of bonds.
