Gentlemen Coroloman May the 15th 1765

I have just now re'd yrs by Capt Evrington inclosing an Acct of Sales for my first Consignment of four hhd Tobo. Together with an Provoice for a Sell of Harnesses & Garnet Necklace for Mr Carter which goods I dare say will please when rec'd - When I ship'd This Tobo I told Mr Campbell the house would get [my?] reputation in the disposal of it therefore you may imagine I did not expect much for it indeed it was (illegible) Tobo. & I should not have ship'd it but at the time you applied to me I had ot any other, _ The several low sales from yr house, have alarm'd many but I must ingenuously confess that such Tobo. as I suppose you may have rec'd the last year from the Northern Neck can't deserve more, & for my own part, am satisfied_ the consignment by Somerville, I hope you will find a good deal more valuable _ A few days ago, I wrote you fully as an Executor of Chars. Carter deceasd, since which it has occur'd to me, that the old gentleman some little time before his Death procur'd an act of the Assembly here to [doem?] the entail of a certain parcel of Land which act, is gone home for confirmation, I must therefore desire you will make a proper Inquiry & pay the usual fees, demanded in such cases - The Estate will I hope make a considerable quantity of Tobo. for the future & could wish you may be able to sell in for as much as [on?]
