From Onondoga N.Y. I was not informed
how it was situated there; but it is prob=
ably a deposit from the water of the salt
strings about that place

3 Sulphuret of Lead (Galena)
From Fever River Illinois.

4 Sulphuret of Lead in a gaugue
of Sulphate of Barytes
From Paris Ky.

5 Radiated Calc Spar, attached to
conglomerate or pudding stone.
A large bed of this rock formes
the bank of Elk Creek about one mile
