According to my calculations
March is the worst month
in the year to go across the
[continent?] — May is the best
month to visit California by
all odds; next June; then
July; then, April. We have
[expected?] you, however [illegible]
no fixed [rule?] will [illegible] [torn paper]
March, however, is decidedly too
early to go to the [illegible] [illegible] or
to the [Yosemite?]
