Robert Bunsen Esq.
Dear Sir

We have used several car loads
of fire clay from near Grand Rapids Wis., and
have found it fully equal in quality if not superior,
to any fire clay we have ever used, we have
also used a few fire bricks made from it merely
to test the quality and found them as good as
any we ever used. Should you make them at
Grand Rapids, I have no doubt we could use
from 200 to 300 per annum for repairs above.
I think they could be at a large profit
and drive the Eastern brick out of this market
