R^hynconella nobilis Hall [James Hall Jr. (September 12, 1811 – August 7, 1898) was an American geologist and paleontologist.]

Resembles the European R. Stricklandii, Sowerby [James De Carle Sowerby (5 June 1787 – 26 August 1871) was a British mineralogist, botanist, and illustrator.]; but its profile
is somewhat different, and the margin of the valves are much
less serrated .
