* Pewaukee- In 1840 the U.S. Census shown in this town 38 horses, 236 meat cattle, 15 sheep, & 413 swine; the crops of 1839 were 2842 bushels of wheat, 10 of barley, 1815 of oats, 82 of buckwheat, 2040 of Indian corn, and 3469 of potatoes- It has two saw mills.

*Pike a town established in 1847 to embrace surveyed townships No. 2 R 22 being part of Southport and Paris. It is nearly all prairie, with Pike creel on the north part and a large branch of the Des Plaines on the west part of the town.
