*Watertown-Agreeably to the United States census of 1840 there were then in this town 20 horses, 203 meat cattle, & 441 swine; during the previous year there were produced 233 bushels of wheat, 495 of oats, 4,775 of Indian corn, and 4,103 of potaties; the quantity of maple sugar made was 2400 pounds; and the value of during produce was $493. The saw mill produced $8,000 worth of lumber.

Waterford a village on Pishtaka (Fox) river in Racine county three miles above Rochester, with a grist mill & saw mill.
