of Conrad Paulson & [Feathendlouhaugh?] to unjustly sustain [?]

to [do?] conclusion on this embracing [?]. The plan he

will propose an explanatory heading for it, sitting farther the
view of the Ohio naturalist & their determination to adopt
it [w?] something better is offend. & that is be [?] by
Hildinth-Buchanan-Sullivan-[Laffian] (if he will) Lapham
[Prie?]-Boam & myself & be forthwith published in Silliman’s
journal." Will you have the goodness to see [?]
[Lopp?]& Sullivent - exhibit to them the bit I [?] you. &
let me know if they are willing to sign in. & find me a
copy with your views on the subject I will mention that
Dr. LE agrees with me that M. [?] of B. [lachrymose?] &
[aopemmis] of Lea are distinct species. I think an examination
of the shells in cabinet would satisfy you that we
are correct. The Dr. also is of opinion that [?? ation?]
of Loumarcks species should stand good. Please also
to note any alteration of the subdivisions you may think
advisable. I should be plea to hear from you as soon
as convenient so as to be able to find the corrected list to Dr.
