It will cause a greater circulation of the newspapers published in our State, attach an additional value to them, as publications and journals for reference after wards.

The undersigned is confident that no sensible man, and no member of your Honourable Body, believed that the subscribing for papers as heretofore practiced by the Legislature, is of any practical benefit either to the press, the Legislature or the People.

We therefore pray the early consideration of this matter for the good of no one in particular but for the good of all and as humble citizen will ever pray the prosperity of Wisconsin.
