Another
view

The most significant event of the stay in Kristiania [now Oslo]
was the reception at which nearly all members of the
Cabinet were present. It has never been my lot to see
in one gathering so many of the men who are
"making history" as upon that occasion. The spirit
of warm hearted, cordial approval of woman suffrage
was most gratifying.
