you to judge of all these things.

You speake of the injustice of
not giving the Secretary a salary
for as long a time as the President
- the facts are that the Secretary's
salary began with her duties
and began long before that of the
President (by the way, in fact the Pres.
does not receive a salary at all, having
declined it) the increase from $2500
