When we had somewhat stilled the commotion stirred in our hearts by "the Baby's" words, there arose yet another speaker, and for him we had a well-prepared ode to be sung in unison by our Choir; but when he stood up for to speak our tongues clave to the roof of our mouths and the song died unborn, for there, with his fair hair glistening 'neath the gaslight stood our dear little dimpled darling - our "Cherub", our "Willie-boy", who in his sweet lisping way told us that we were no longer Freshmen, but "Gentlemen of the First Year" and that he hoped we would become a credit to Huron College by zealously observing its Laws and Traditions - just as the present Seniors do (?)

We cannot understand why your moustache does not flourish under the treatment you mention, unless the top-dressing does not suit. A hot application twice a week will probably force the growth and an occasional raking might be beneficial.

Accroche-Coeurs - "Frizetta" is the only preparation we know of that will keep your fore-locks in curl in damp weather. At all chemists.

Enquirer. The Tennis-net is left up to prevent the snow from drifting up against the college wall.

A. Cracker. Sorry we cannot advise you as to what means you should pursue to make your fellow students believe you have a great deal to do this term. We imagine it is almost impossible
