with Alick. Col. Taylor
to dinner.

TUESDAY, 15.
Hot day. Cricket match
London v Toronto commenced.
Spent part of morning &
afternoon looking on.

WEDNESDAY, 16.
Fine day
Toronto won
the match by 80 runs.
Bill off to Chatham in
morning & back in afternoon.

Fine day. After office
played croquet with
the gov.

FRIDAY, 18
Hot day. Played in a
cricket match against
St Thomas. We win by 30
runs. Messrs Young, Anson,
Gates & Tommy Young arrived
at 7 p.m. to stay with us
a short time.

SATURDAY, 19.
Hot day. Cricket match
Junior vs Artillery. Latter
won. Didn't play.
