Wardman Park Hotel,

Washington, D.C.,

February 10, 1921.

The Hon. Warren G. Harding, President-Elect,
St. Augustine, Florida.

Dear Sir:

The National Council of Women, having in membership
conservatively ten million members, with thirty
national organizations, requests me to refer to the
action of the Republican Party in its platform, written
at Chicago, wtih reference to the Armenian question,
"standing ready to help Armenia in all proper ways."

The women of America are desirous of having adopted a
definite policy, looking toward stability with regard
to the settlement of issues, especially relating to the
women and children of Armenia.

We are hopeful that you will see your way clear to refer
to the question in no uncertain terms.

Respectfully,

[signature] Mrs Philip N. Moore

President.
