20: Light wind to moderate breeze West to N. West these 24 hours. First part of 24 hours rain hail & lightning. Last part of 24 hours frequent rain & hail squalls. Sea very rough. General duties for the day. Barometer 29.90 to 30.04 today.

21: Light N. West wind these 24 hours with frequent light rain showers. Sea rough. General duties for the day. Keeper writing in ofice today. 2nd Asst went over on South beach after agates. Barometer 30.44 today.

22: Light East to North wind these 24 hour clear fine and cool weather during 24 hours. Sea moderately smooth. Keeper & 2nd Asst went to Newport after supplies & mail. 1st Asst went fishing. General duties for the day. Barometer 30.30.

23: Fresh and strong breeze East these 24 hours clear fine and cool weather. Sea smooth. Keeper working on quarterly and monthly returns to Inspector and Engineer. 1st Asst went fishing. 2nd Asst went after tree. Barometer 30.30 today.
