2: Light South wind with light rain showers first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours light wind to moderate breeze North with clear fine weather - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.30 - 1st and 2nd ass'ts showing twenty eight visitors in tower - 1st ass't went to Newport after mail and supplies - Keeper and 1st ass't takeing account of the worn out articles on hand at the station - Keeper makeing a list of worn out articles.

3: Fresh breeze North these 24 hours with clear fine weather - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.30 to 30.10 - 1st ass't cutting grass inside of yard around dwelling and showing visitors in tower - 2nd ass't working in dwelling - Keeper showing visitors in tower and writing in office. U.S. Light House Tender Manzanita passed this station at 7:20 P.M. going South.

East wind and fresh breeze South these 24 - First part of 24 hours fair weather - Last part of 24 hours light rain showers - Sea smooth - 2nd ass't putting wood in his celler - Keeper cleaning chicken house - Barometer 29.54 - 1st ass't left the station at 9:30 A.M. for Portland on important business to be absent four or five days. U.S. Light-House Tender Manzanita arrived off Yaquina bar at 3:40 P.M. and crossed into Newport.

2: Fresh to moderate breeze East and light North wind these 24 hours - with frequent rain showers - Sea smooth - Barometer 29.50 to 29.60 - General duties for the day - Keeper Frank M. Plummer went to Newport after mail and supplies.

3: Moderate breeze East to light S. East and South wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours fair weather - Last part of 24 hours fair and some light rain showers - Sea smooth - Barometer 29.56 - 2nd ass't putting wood into his celler - Keeper doing house work - Commander W.P. Day Light-House Inspector and Engineer Rickards arrived at station at 11:00 A.M. Inspected Station and left at 12:10 for Newport.
