17 Light wind to moderate breeze north these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours clear fine and warm - Last part of 24 hours thick damp fog - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.10 - Keeper went to Newport for oats & bran - Keeper & assts putting hay into barn - 2nd asst showing two visitors in tower.

18 Light north wind these 24 hours with thick damp fog - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.10 to 30.13 - 1st asst went fishing - 2nd asst putting dressing on garden & getting wood off the beach - Keeper went to Newport after oats & bran for cow & horses.

19 Light south wind these 24 hours with thick fog showers - Sea very smooth - Barometer 30.13 to 30.04 - General duties for the day - Keeper went to Newport after supplies and hauling wheat & bran - 2nd asst cleaning out barn and getting wood on the beach.

20 Light south wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours thick damp fog - Last part of 24 hours fair and warm weather - Barometer 30.04 to 29.98 - General duties for the day - Keeper went to Newport after feed for horses and cow.

24 Light south wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours thick damp fog - Last part of 24 hours fair and warm - Barometer 30.16 - 1st asst showing five visitors in tower - Keeper working on quarterly reports - 2nd asst went to Toledo for recreation - Left the sta at 8 A.M.

25 Light south wind to moderate and fresh breeze north these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours thick fog showers - Last part of 24 hours fair weather - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.15 to 30.10 - Keeper working on quarterly reports to inspector and engineer. 1st asst went fishing and showing visitors in tower - Had six visitors - 2nd asst returned to the station at 1:30 P.M. U.S.L.H. Tender Manzanita passed by sta at 4:30 P.M. for the south.
