Stoneleigh.
Wednesday.

Darling-

I was very pleased to have another
letter from you this morning.

I went to Lisa's grave on Saturday. You can
imagine what a sad thing it was to have
to do. It was tidy, but of course quite plain &
nothing on it at all. I spoke to the man,
& when that particular section is complete, it
will be turfed over & kept tidy. The best thing will
be to arrange for certain flowers & plants -
& whatever we decide & want will be done,
year by year, & we of course pay the
appropriate sum. You know much more about
flowers than I do, so will you think & let
me know what you would like. I think
small flowers & plants are the nicest - such
as crocus & snow drops, which came up
early - & then others to follow on for as long
as possible.

About carving a stone, sweetheart, I know
