Sir,

Not knowing that advice has been given you by any other Opportunity of the Arrival of the little Belly. I make use of This for that purpose by Captain David Blair of the ship Port Glasgow. The Liale Billoy arrived here the 4th of March, having sustain'd [sustained] much Damage in her passage: Her Foremast & [Bowsfrit?] [Cost?], with the sales yards a rigging belonging to them. She is now filling out here for your port with another Load of Tobacco. The good you sent by her came safe as far as I know. But there seems to have been a mistake made. For you writ to Mr. Landon Carter that he had a parcel of French falls packt [packed] up in the secretary's Box No. 4. which I saw opened my self [myself] and found none there, nor was there (was there) indeed room for them, as it seemed to me. Inclosed you have a Bill of Lading for seven hhds the Secretary's tobo. [tobacco] consigned you by Cape Blair, [H?] any part of your Letters require Answering. that will be done by some other Occasion when the secretary & his Brothers meet at this Place: for whom I am.

Sir,

Your most humble serva. [servant]

The moment [geon?]: eluded this letter Cape Loxum is arrived & come a shore: & I suppose wrot by this Opportunity.
