page_0145124 Rappa. [Rappahannock] June 25 1737 We have your Accots. [Accounts] of Insurances made on our Brigantine Little Betty & Cargoes the balance due to us being nine hundred & thirty four pounds fifteen Shillings, and nine pince [pence] [sent?] after the Premium, Commission & Charges deducted which we suppose is right. We desire you will carry this Sum which Credit of our Particular Accounts in the following proportions. John Carter....... [pound sign] 517.6.8 1/2 Mr Landon Carter's Balance being due to the Secretary, he has Ordered it to him by bills of Excha. [exchange] drawn this day; of which he advises in [particular] Letter. We are, Sir, Your most Humble Servts. [servants] John Carter Mr. Robert Cary By some mistake Mr Rider & Compa.[Company] of Madera have latly [lately] sent me Eight [Diproof?] wine amounting to ninety six pounds which I desire the favor of you to pay.
